Workshop with friends

Last week I snuck off to Vermont with my friend Kim Rogers of Numinosity Beads. Kim is a lamp work bead maker, jewelry artist and good friend. We were all about polymer clay with Christine Damm from Stories They Tell. Three jam packed days of exploring techniques, color, texture, and our own intuitive styles. Christine is not only a polymer clay artist but a potter, painter, textile fiber and clothing maker, furniture painter and more. She’s a wealth of ideas and the abundance in the studio was amazing. Still processing that’s how much I learned.

Perfect weather, friends old and now new and the lovely setting of rural Vermont provided the inspiration to create in a new medium. Looking forward to more!

Me, Christine and Kim and some shots of the work and our brick B&B and walks around the neighborhood. …

Sounds like fun sharing all those creative ideas. I really liked your canvases in the previous post. The square patches were a perfect addition to the burst of color.

Sounds like a great time with fellow creatives.
Your photos are very interesting and I especially liked the dense blue cornflower, the circular sculpture and the last piece made of flat stones or slate.
