Tree Fungi(for EB) and the Library Exhibit

I read Elizabeth Bunsen’s post on October
4th “gratitude, a red book and a bed of nails…”
and in her post she mentions tree fungi.

I couldn’t get the idea of all those glorious
strange mushrooms out of my head,
so this morning I took these shots- sulfer yellow
mushrooms in the wood pile and near the veg garden.

So after I took these shots I noticed the
great blue heron sitting on the dock
and just managed to snap him before he flew off…

The flock of ducks…
then we hopped into the car to hang the collages at the library exhibit.

Hubby David and friend Eileen and some of the
pieces, she wouldn’t let me take her picture, so
all you get is her back…..

When we were all done, she gave me these…

With friends like Eileen, life is complete.

You should see the collection Elizabeth has. It's quite amazing. Your fungi finds are fab :-). I also really like you collages. Lots of color and texture. Very nice!

Thanks for your words of encouragement!
