Tiny Art

Tiny Art. Something small and a bit precious. I have been drawn to making tiny this week. By tiny I mean 5” x 7”. Using 140 lb watercolor  paper which I love to work on.

Paint and collage, making what shows up. Simple acts of creating are so joyous and restful. Enjoying having no expectations on the work.

Oh, and a coffee table turned into a counter  table for the studio. The superhero  built the original back when and now he’s adapted the top and cut new legs to make it more useful. What a guy.

Love these! Great idea to put the squiggly wire hangers on them. Nice table top too.

Love your 5×7’s, Corrine! I, too, enjoy working on smaller scales–sometime as small as atc’s, but never inchies! Great “new” table, too!

I remember when the Superhero made that table right around the time you moved. It is still lovely, and now it seems even more functional.

Those small pieces of art are fabulous. A great size for mailing and a great size for creating. LOVE that heart, and the bunny, too. I really like the wire hangers. The use of buttons was an added touch.

For me 5 x7 is a good journal size.
I like having a peek at your studio space and the wonderful table!
I’d love to come by and do some art… minus the 2000 miles distance!

These are wonderful pieces of heartwork! I do love the smallness , there is something very freeing about working smaller-at least I feel that!

Hello dear Corrine. I have been following your posts just not taking the time to comment. But as always I love what you do so much, your go with the flow feeling is what I love the most and the authentic art that is made that way is unique! Thanks so much for stopping by my way and your kind words.
    Best wishes your way,
    Kat xx

    Haha, Corrine, Tiny art?
I love the way you make art, so free and colourful and looking like it is spontaneous – but I’m fairly sure it is harder than it looks.
The heart in its rectangle is gorgeous. The stern rabbit looks just like the postmaster in one of our post offices which we do not go to. I love the purple background. Mr. Rabbit Postmaster.
I really like the hanging mechanisms too, so creative and original.
