Through the winter window

Through the winter window; a view to the barn.  Morning light, flinty and just barely enough.  Late light fleeting seam of weak sun disappearing in the west.  Light we hunt for when the days are short and sometimes gloomy.  Gathering all the sunbursts inside to hold for spring.

    Lovely words and art Corrine.
Gathering Light to hold close is something that really resonates with me.
We have had more cloudy days recently making me realize that sunlight DOES make more of a difference than I thought.

How very imaginative you are with the skills to paint your imagination.

A great piece and just how it would look through the frosty winter window. Love the add on’s. Thanks for dropping into my blog. I agree, I have never seen nuns with red mitts … I’m afraid that came from my vivid imagination. hugs, Donna

Yes, holding those sunbursts, as few as they are sounds good to me. Are you ready for a little snow tomorrow night?

I need all the sunlight I can absorb these days, because it can get so gloomy around here. This is a wonderful piece, and it resonates with me.

Beautiful colors used, like the early mornings when the sun just shows its red light on the sky, and everything catches a pinkish look, seen through the snow.
Love your words , also Corrine. XO
