Technique Tuesday’s at Artist in Blogland

My post is up at Technique Tuesdays at Artists in Blogland on how to turn a book cover into a wall hanging.  You can see it by clicking on the link or the button over on my sidebar.  Thanks to Marcia Beckett and Jessica Sporn for creating a wonderful environment for artists to share their work and support each other’s creative endeavors.  Don’t forget to check out Color this Quote and Show and Tell Saturdays on the blog too.IMG_7383

Ooh I’m loving this Corrine, what a brilliant project, such a lovely way to re-love an old book cover. I adore your hanger, sooooooo pretty with the fabric pieces.
    Huge hugs x

I like this idea a lot, Corrine. For quite some time now, I have been saving old book covers with the intention of doing “something” artistic with them. This post has helped me along. I also have been hoarding old game boards to use. Now I just need to carve out a time slot…..
Thank you for always asking about Mom. You are sweet and thoughtful as well as creative.

My e-mail got so “clogged” that I almost missed this, Corrine–so glad that I didn’t! When I saw this “book cover art” at the Bazaar, I meant to ask for details, but got sidetracked. So glad to see here that you are sharing the process! Off to check it out!
