Tattered dancer

Tattered and worn the dancer still dances. A totally different doll from me. Sometimes the romantic has to shine. Vintage fabrics, wool felt, wire and tea dyed lace, antique bells.  Mostly hand stitched. She still dances to her own tune.

She is WONDERFUL Corrine , so sweet, and I love her beautiful dress, and your hand sewing on her bodice , and gown, -she looks so ready to take part in this world, with a strong spirit and courage. She is great, dear !! xo

Very cute. I like this new direction you’ve ventured into. The white fabric with the tiny pleats is such a nice detail on the dress.

Looks like a Russian ballerina, with the wonderful vintage fabric.
One could see a whole story just looking at her.

Oh how I love those lace arms & tinkley bells! She’s very pretty too. Thanks for your kind comment on my blog.

Oh yes, she is different. Her dress and sash are so beautiful. She has a very straightforward look, she seems like a good person. I have a feeling she is a Countess, whether English or Russian is uncertain.
Is she listening to music on her purple earphones?

She may be tattered, but she’s still elegant.

I love her. She’s rather refined and almost looks like she is wearing one of those old 1950’s hats. How did your class go? Did you need any any band-aids after the stamp carving play?

You may describe your dancer as tattered, but to me she is elegant! Love her attire and her legs are perfect dancer’s legs to be sure!
