Sun and Sand I Want To Hold Your Hand

The superhero surprised me with a phone call and said, pack your stuff and let’s stroll on the beach until sunset.  So off to York Harbor, Me we did go.  It’s a small beach but incredibly pretty with a cliff walk along the shore you can explore.  Since it’s almost August, and summer is disappearing faster than we know, I thought you would enjoy the views. Kimbucha will I know.

This setting is so beautiful. I have never been to Maine, but feel like I need to see it. Something about the photos kind of calls to me. Maybe the photos of the Queen Anne’s lace and the black eyed Susans – flowers that are so familiar to me, but out in fields, not high on the cliffs above the rocky coast. Seeing them there makes me think they are visiting from the farms and country roads of the midwest. Unexpected. Thank you for sharing these beautiful pics!

Ooh yes, will be in the vicinity soon. Looking forward to it. ( not the 14 hours of plane travel part though!) …and the possibility of perhaps even seeing your shining face.

Your man certainly has some good ideas! Gorgeous walk and photos – thanks for sharing. If it was ever warm and sunny here, I might go to our beach…..or maybe I should go anyway – just bundle up and take a different kind of beach picture. People will think it was taken in the winter! 🙂 (fun shadow love!)

Idyllic. Fantastic beautiful love shots! The wild flowers are Queen Anne’s Lace and grew profusely in Virginia where I used to live. This picture made me really miss them.

Wish we had something half as lovely as this to visit, but alas we live in a landlocked area. You are blessed to have a superhero that knows what you like!
