Studio Notes: Out of Our Heads

Today in the studio Barbara and I went right out of our heads. Two hours of non-stop action at the easel. Collage, paint, scrape, wipe, daub, scribble, draw, color, paint, scrape, wipe, draw…A stretch of good old fashioned juicy fun. Barbara jumped in with such enthusiasm and we just moved without thinking, painting with fingers, hands, brushes and seeing the unseen that comes from NON – thinking creative process.  Here is what we made…fodder for the journal, muse – a – licious goodness for remembering later when we feel stuck.

Barbara’s evolution of her page…

And my final piece…

Letting go of outcomes feels so darn good!
