Stitching — Painted fabric and stitch

Creating the liner for the vintage laundry cart today.  I stitched all the painted fabric pieces I had fashioned for the pattern, leaving extra room for some “sag”.  I did not want to stretch on the seams when the cart was full of my fabric stash.  So I fitted it out with clothes pins and am deciding how to attach to the cart itself and to fully line it or not.  But I thought you would all like to see the “dry run.  I also took some of the fabric remnants and stitched this little moon-pie face pillow to tuck into a chair. Must have been the crisp Autumn air this morning that put the stitching bug back in me, but I needed a creative break day and boy it felt good. What did you create today?

You got a LOT accomplished today. The dry run looks good, as does the pillow. Of course, I adore the painted fabric. It speaks to me.

What did I do today? Worked on the computer, mostly. Not much fun and not much art, but I’ve been sewing a few things, at least.
