StencilGirl Hop — Pam Carriker — The Game of Life

IMG_9183Playing in the colorful game of life using Pam Carriker’s Complimentary Stencil 116  I turned a 18×24 canvas board into a game board.

I painted in the stencil on a pre stamped background paper in my stash with acrylic craft paints

IMG_8938

Using this canvas which I liberally splashed paint on then added some oval shapes, I attached the color wheel to it using gel medium.IMG_8935

IMG_8957I divided the segments with white paint, added the lettering and made a spinner and painted it white and coated it with glitter.  But even then it didn’t feel like enough color so I added some colors in the form of letters and finished it off with printed washi tapes.  It’s one color-full life.

IMG_9316Not stopping after project one I traced the stencil again into my journal and colored it in with markers to make this page.  The feathers are stamped on as are the words with permanent inks. I added a popped up circle in the middle and the wheel becomes a dreamcather.

Be sure to visit everyone on the hop for a chance to win and just to enjoy the marvelous projects they come up with using this stencil.  Pam is so talented it’s hard not to want to play with what she creates.
