Spirit Talking

This painting evolved intuitively.  A chunky collage house
in a bright nature setting, alive, tropical.  I have been trying
to pay attention to what comes from within without the editorial
comments that crop up for us all.

I have been reading this book – again.

by Sculptor Nancy Azara.

Doing more yoga,
listening to the internal voices,
accepting the visual images that come in
to play and putting them on paper.

As a reference, as a personal lesson for what might
be happening inside, each building upon
the next, a road map for evolution and welcoming
each new light as a gift.

There is an amazing simple message in this book.
Practice noticing, meditating and what you need will show
up, good or bad, liking it or not, you will reveal yourself
as you practice whatever art you make, I plan to practice

Happy Weekend.

LOVE this post. Must put the book on my look for list. I started doing more of the intuitive approach before Mr. Dragon's diagnosis and liked what I was coming up with. Must get back to that.

Wonderful painting and thoughts. I think I'll look for this book, too.

Another beautiful post. What you talk about is what I am trying to remember to do… although I forget often. Noticing, and staying in the moment are my biggest challenges, as well as acceptance. Right now I feel more like a toddler just trying to take a few steps before falling down. :0)

Not familiar with the book, but it looks like something I would enjoy… will have to get a copy. Thanks for sharing!

    Lovely work. Beautiful colors. xo
