Sparkle Days Play

What happens when you put six creative women together to create and play — well chaos of course.  Joyful, loud, laughing chaos. Thanks to Judy, Karen, Mandy, Barbara and Urvashi for making the afternoon so enjoyable.  I didn’t take too many pictures but I did have a before of the studio and a during, well, you will see what I mean, blossoming chaos, messy chaos and more creative chaos — what a blast!  Guess where we ate lunch – yup – standing up!

My clean worktable on Saturday….

The creative chaos on Sunday with Karen on the left(yes she made that cool t -shirt) and Urvashi on the right and a bit of Barbara’s hands…!

So fun! How lucky that you live close enough together to have such excellent play dates! I can feel the creative vibes all the way out here on the west coast! Hope you’re all spared the worst of storm Sandy!

Thank you for stopping by…we have had snow…sleet…high winds …and I will check in on a few friends that I have not heard from. My trees have been tossed and bent to extremes but this time so far we have not lost a big one…lots of little debris to be collected. I am so happy you and yours are safe and sound. I wish you peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

As one of the 6 women, I am here to say… WOOHOO!!! What a great day. First, a beautiful, fun studio.. a GREAT HOSTESS, thanks, Corrine. The art was amazing, the company was even better. Chatter was fun and sometimes a little, ahem, naughty. What’s a fun art day with ladies without it… and the food was great. We all left there with new friends and fulfilled with art happiness.. well, I was anyway. You can ready my post about it at

OH I can read you had a most wonderful day, with your “students” Corrine- and I can tell from that table, that it was a fantastic meeting with art materials, hands and minds..you made a gorgeous day of it!!
Wish I could have been there.
    Hugs from Dorthe.
Corrine have you heard from Sharon, since the storm?

I’m jealous. That’s because I always go to the most uplifting and selfless emotion, first.

Now I feel free to say: HOW GROOVY!!
