Song and dance of life

A lesson in creativity. Process and it’s foibles. Ugly ducklings and blossoms. The song and dance of life. 30″ or 762 millimeters tall. Design, stitch, stuff, paint. Beads, bells and wrapping. And more wrapping. Entering in the next show at the gallery. Fingers crossed she’s accepted. She’s out there in my freak flag way. Got to make what you make. A lesson in creativity.

A fantastic creation -she is a BEAUTY – full of fun , colour and texture and made with so much love in every detail .. especially this delicate black stitches on the back of her head look perfect and fancy and I like all the stitching and the beads and little bells!
I am sure she will be exepted for the exhibition!
SADLY – We had to delete the entry due to the AJJ rules –

    Happy Sunday Corinne!
Hope everything is going well at your corner of the earth!

Ah! a Corrine doll, without a doubt. The bells and coloured threads are terrific and I love her sweet alien-doll face and pink styled hairdo. If she is not accepted then the gallery is not worthy of your art.

You certainly have developed your own style. The colors are so pretty, and I like how the photos move in closer and closer to the doll as you scroll down. Good luck with the gallery show!

I think she’s perfect. She resonates with me, and the bells jingle when I scroll down the length of her wholeness. You’ve gotta make what resonates with you. I totally agree, and she is definitely YOU. Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for you.

Very fun! I love the spring-y colors. I’m so horrible with 3-diminsional art. I try to stick with 2-D with some occasional texturing or sometimes some raised elements on my pages. LOL I hope she is accepted–however, I don’t think it will affect her dance one way or the other! 🙂

She is such a delight, Corrine, and I love how much “personality” shows here. Love her thread gown, especially! She gives the old saying, “I will be there with bells on!” confirmation!!
