Sleepytime Moon

Continuing stitch explorations with a child’s softie. Or an adult’s too. We all love a bit of comfort don’t we?

Hand stitched features on wool blend felt on a huggable pillow. Maybe some lavender ones in the works or tiny pockets to be added for trinkets. Exploring simplicity.

What a fun face. I love how you manage to get such an expression with simple lines and shapes. 🙂 And its May. 🙂

Hugable and lovable. I think this is a winner. Don’t you just love variegated thread? Single color thread seems so boring after I found multicolored.

Your lovable doll is sweet. I can see a heart or enclosed pocket filled with lavender. I think that’s a wonderful idea.

Oh a huggable (doll) pillow, what an idea. I wonder what my teddies would think of that.
She looks like a good one to hug, quite confident and content.

He is adorable, Corrine! And, you’re right, fun for adults, too. Don’t forget something into which to pop a tooth for the Tooth Fairy!!

Corrine, You captured such serenity in the face of the moon. There is a beautiful sense of calm, making me feel quite sleepy and also a gentleness. Incredible how you brought such depth of emotion to the face.
    Wishes
