She pulled him in to the Vortex of her influence

“She pulled him in to the vortex of her influence.”

I’ll let you decide which is which.  But it all started like this…

Cut outs from some printed papers and gel pens on a black background.

Moved to this, feeling ever so much better with the less than cookie cutter effect.

Into he/she, she/he

And she/he and he/she.

Exploring the duality of female/male and what does that mean once again.  Linking to Art-Journal-Journey.

Very interesting spread, great colours, too. I think there has to be a certain flow between masculine and feminine, and we share a lot of attributes. Hugs, Valerie

That is where you and I are SO different. I would have stopped after I cut the female and male forms and added the hair and background. But you carried it SO MUCH FURTHER. Just a wonderful, wonderful entry, and the reason why your art is so popular.

The background is great. Many layers of interest.

I’ve gone backwards and forwards and looked again, and I’m still amazed at the finished piece from the start. Your artwork has a mind all of its own.

No doubt about you Corrine taking your art to the next step and the next level. I admire your mind and your artwork!
Thanks for the comment. I guess I am a bit of a slow learner – dah!!!

Awesome page. I think she’s on the right and she’s all dolled up and winking and saying come on over big boy! ha-ha! 7 days to fabric and paint play!

Corrine, your mind goes in so many exiting directions, and your art follows, -jumping from one to another, and still, the start is there, within the end result, to be seen through all the layers.
Wonderful, and great play with all the colours. Dorthexx

Very explosive! I think we all have both of those male and female qualities, whether we admit it or not! Great exploration!

Big, bold bad ass background, Corrine. Your words sound somewhat sexual in nature. Not sure where I am going with this. Perhaps…yes, I must stop! But not without saying, “I love this spread!”
