Sculpture Doll WIP

Busy working here with cloth, stitch, wire, wool and gesso. Paint and details to come. A bit of a mystery to me as well.

Elements, stitches, the hint of a face and organic shapes. Coming together.

    L♥ve that plaster/gesso looking fabric.
And that old metal spool of wire reminds me of some I have that belonged to my father.
Looking forward to seeing more dear Corrine!

Even before creating a doll, the texture works really well as a collage piece. Looks fun.

I love how you create the veins in your fabric, Corrine! A few unexpected ingredients in this project! Can’t wait to see where you are going. Just give that hatpin a prominent place–I love hatpins!
