Post Cards From The Garden

Yesterday Linda from Blue Eyed Girl
inspired me with her garden journal
and the photo she used of her alliums.

I adore alliums too, and have a new photo
that I took in Chicago, so I thought a little
digital collage was in order, spurred on
by Linda’s wonderful command of digital
work, I came up with some post cards
from the garden…

Multiple layers of alliums upon alliums over one of my collage
backgrounds.

I actually managed to resize two images, the allium photo and part of
another collage piece and combine them for this post cards.

Some further manipulation and layering of the allium photo
along with hue and saturation adjustments led to this turquoise
dream of a post card – my favorite color-along with some orange
and purple too. I like it sooooo much, it’s the new banner.
Playing  with two collages in layers.
Transitions are not perfect and the lines need smoothing
out, but since we know NOT perfect is the way to go,
PS Elements is starting to make sense. Yippee!!!
