Photo Alterations

Been absent for a week or so with visits from a far away friend and grandkids. Lots of work in progress but nothing quite ready to show except some photo alterations. A bit of color for a midweek WIP.

An enjoyable alteration exploration for a mid week break

I love your brightly painted pieces and your WIPs. Can’t wait to see what they turn into.

You asked about heat setting the iris pounded fabric. I didn’t heat set it, nor did I wash it. I don’t make a habit of doing either, since these pieces will never be washed. But I suspect from using this fabric it’s very permanent, and the iris “juice” won’t wash out easily.

Corrine you are creating the most amazing color combinations, they are wonderful, and the flower I love, so filled with sunshine and power, gorgeous with the blue !!
Hope you had happy hours with your grandkids, and your friend. xo

Thanks for the sweet birthday wishes on my blog today. To answer your question, if all goes as planned, I’ll be going to the zoo with Sally, then sharing dinner with Scott in the evening. Have fun at the beach and find some great items to recycle.

Here I am playing blog catch-up again! Your first photo reminds me so much of the lovely fabric brooch you made for me, which I love! Great stitchery here, my friend, as well as great designs! Glad you are finding more creative time!
