Peaks and Sneaks of the New Bitsy Studio

Somehow I expected to be sadder to leave the big studio behind, but I am most definitely not.  This bitsy studio I have is so cozy and perfect for intimate communication.  While it most certainly is not completely done, the walls are still looking pretty bare and the plants have yet to come into place. The studio is close to being complete and I thought I would share my progress with you.

The tables got a paint job and the floor in the paint area got covered with rosin paper and a bit of decorative masking tape collage. Since I have a class tomorrow I had to be ready set go by tonight. The bright circles are the new table tops.  The pepto pink was too much, yikes.  Hope you enjoy the tour.

This looks like absolute heaven to me. My studio is quite dungeon-like. I try to make the best of it with lots of lights, but I don’t know how much longer I can stand it. My guest room is calling out to me. My mother-in-law won’t mind sleeping on the couch, right?

This new studio looks very cozy and bright. I love all those windows with the natural light flooding in. Wonderful! I love the bright pink, as well. I think you will be very happy here, Corrine.

Lighting looks great. It will be fun to see what the space looks like in about a month after it gets used for awhile. Enjoy it’s uncluttered space for now.

Your new studio looks like a perfect place to create, lots of lights with a liitle brights, and not too much visual noise! Finding a studio that works for you can be a bit of a Goldilock prosess – one too small, one too big and one the perfect size. The same goes with colours and class sizes…
I love the backgrounds with the paint from many creations and the bright table top!

I am SO jealous! This looks so charming, inviting and ready for creativity to bloom. The painting wall is amazing – I want to come! What’s your class for today?

I wish I could just drop in and make mail art with you Corrine. The studio looks wonderful..bright…cheerful…a fine place to get down on creativeness. I can’t remember…is this part of your home? Another building? I can’t remember what you said about it.

Wishing you huge success with your new smaller place. …that is what you said..smaller? I just got home from work and it’s very late…probably should get some shut-eye.

Corrine, this studio looks so inviting. I wish I lived near enough to come and visit.

Wow, Corinne, I am so happy for you! I love the wall stations. I have no spot in my craft room to put up large sheets of paper for large expressive art. What I wouldn’t give to come to you studio and paint really big art with you!
