Painting and more painting -52 Projects #45, 46 and 47

Painting all week in the studio leaving plenty of room for puppy play in between.  Going with my gut and making what appears. Painting on found plywood with some collage, pencil, fibers and inks. I’ve re-opened my etsy, giving it another try…

Grandmother tends her garden

My Thrifted Self

A colorful gal with a fiber crown and

Sisters and a balloon

And of course an update on Miss Roxie, here’s a picture with the Superhero…

Wild and growing like a weed.

My favorite is My Thrifted Self, because it is SO you. LOVE that face and crown! I also like the sisters with their balloon. All are very clever and I’m sure they will sell quickly in your Etsy shop.

Roxie is such an adorable gal. She looks very happy and so does Superhero. Hope you have a great week, dear friend.

The fabric hair is…well,..fab! But my fave is “Sisters!” I have never painted on plywood, but think I might like to try. Maybe Judy and I can come visit next Spring when Russ and I return (we leave tomorrow). Love that photo of No. 5! A sweet addition to the pack, I might add!

Sounds and looks like a great week.
“My Thrifted Self” is a riot, the face, the hat and the little figure (is it an earring?), what a great character to add to your cast of characters.
I love them all. That’s an interesting balloon.

David looks like he’s become totally smitten with Miss Roxie in that photo. I like it. And you have been on a creative roll madame. These are beautiful. We should plan a play Saturday sometime-this month is busy but maybe next month one day if you aren’t too busy with things. Stay dry today with all this rain. hugs-Erika
