Mixed Media Alchemy — Lucky Star Art Camp

November is fast approaching and that means I head on down to Texas for a romping good time at Lucky Star Art Camp, November 5-9, 2014.

Time for daydream believing and sleepaway art camp for grown-ups.  What could be better you say? Well getting to teach of course.  I am so LUCKY to be in the company of some wonderful artists,  sewists, quilters, writers, musician’s and magical food artisans, healing yogini’s and nature artisans.  Camp fires will be burning, songs will be sung, horses will be ridden and we will be creating in a blissfully sublime location at Camp Waldemar in Hunt, Texas on the banks of the Guadalupe River.

Class offerings are varied and intriguing.  You can find them all here .

I will teaching Mixed Media Alchemy – a creative exploration, an awareness opener, a materials limiter to free up the road blocks to creating anywhere, with almost anything.MixedMediaAlchemy

New ways of LoOkiNg and demonstrations using ordinary materials found around the house.

Playing with vintage and new.

Bringing in humor and fun

Telling our stories, always telling our stories and listening to each other to inspire and relate.

I hope you will join me for the experience of a place where daydreams do become reality.   This  November 5-9th, 2014.  Hurry, it’s only 50 sleeps away.  Registration closes Friday, October 24th.  Do something just for you. Lucky Star Art Camp

This sounds like an awesome opportunity for you, and I KNOW your students will benefit from your artistic abilities. And I like the idea of using everyday items, similar to things in my own playbook. I’m sure you’ll get lots of takers, too.

Very cool-love the samples you have made! Have you been to the Texas hill country before? We used to live in Kerrville which is about 30 miles or so from Hunt and it is a beautiful area along the Guadalupe river. Have fun!!

I know your classes will be filled with inquiring minds, and you are just the instructor to fill them up with your unique creativity. One day, hopefully, I will be in that number!
