Making and Making Painted faces 52 Projects #48 and #49 and #50

My mojo for painting has returned and I have been busy working the plywood remnants with new work.  I have also finished up some hanging Wish pieces.  All in all a most productive period.  I will go with it while the flow is there.  Trying to stay heart centered and in the moment. My return to twice weekly yoga has really helped with that.  Doing a vinyassa practice for those age 50+.  A real focus on breath work and awareness in soft focus.  I feel better, have more energy and more paint mojo – all good things. In my journal I have been painting and collaging faces. Here are two…

Winter girl was done in five minutes using up leftover paint with one brush shown on the page. My fellow was a collage exercise using typography that appealed to me.

An up-cycle project in my Etsy shop using  tin tray, collage and chalk paint and some kids alphabet blocks with added magnets.

The magnets are the stronger round ones and hold much better. Fun for your own art or the kiddos art.

Making and painting, puppy play (Roxie’s gained 5 lbs) and enjoying each Autumn day.  What could be better.  Life in the moments.

Looks like you are settling into a good groove for the season. And the pup surely adds joy unparalleled.

I simply adore the collaged man. This face really spoke to me. Not a pun, either. I’m actually inspired to make something similar. You have certainly found your groove. It’s wonderful that you are sharing these because they inspire me.

Those tiny strong magnets are wonderful, aren’t they? I bought a pack of 5 and they hold so much better than standard magnets or the magnet sheets.

Roxie looks adorable and seems to be settling in well, too.

Beautiful artwork, Corrine! I especially love the collaged man. You can see that Roxie has grown over the last weeks. A comfy bed and some toys in a loving home. It can’t get much better for a dog. Your yoga workout sounds good.
    Have a great weekend!
