Mail Art — Inventing Spring

If Spring won’t come to me then I will come to Spring.  Making post cards to celebrate the burst of color that is Spring.  Using gelli printed papers, leftovers, magazine bits, rubber stamps and permanent stamping inks.  A riot of color spills from my work surface ready to bloom into mail boxes everywhere.  Now to write them out.  I think I’ll play along with Piarom’s’ Mix-it-Monthly Abstract theme one more time with these.

Atta girl! You defy this winter! Love these bursts of color and the patterns here. Well; we have the sun out anyway with beautiful blue sky. But; still very cold. Thursday we might hit 50! Let’s hope. We have lost lots of snow due to the sun being higher! 🙂 xo

Yep – these are yummy! I always enjoy a big p/c making session, but it takes much longer to write them out. I’ve actually thought about typing one message and printing multiples and just sticking it on…. but I haven’t yet.

Oh my such an abundance of color and shapes! My favorite is the yellow one in the middle on the right side with the whiteisch bloom ! These all are so inspiring to make something new out of the stuff, we already have…to bring together what looks good, to create something new! What a treasure 🙂 I am thrilled you painted again with Mix It Monthly in mind….♥ Conny
