Life goes on

It’s been a tough week for the family.  People and dogs.  We lost one of our own.  We had to say goodbye to Mr. Philo, our lab mix, who was just shy of 15. He visits my dreams, I look for him everywhere, do a head count when the dogs come in from the back yard and wonder where he is.  I hope he is romping through the woods with his pals on the other side. I hope he is barking and chasing and digging and doing all those wonderful doggie things he hasn’t been able to do in quite a while.  A put a little tribute to him together in a gallery.  It’s about all I can manage right now.

He was always tough, but he held alot of fear inside.  He was a little dog in a big dog body.  We will miss him.

My heart goes out to you Corrine. I can truly relate to the sadness you feel at this moment. You have created a fitting and beautiful tribute to Philo, and I’m sure he’s romping and telling all his friends how happy he is that you made him look so good on the internet. Again, I feel your pain and realize life goes on, but we need to take time to grieve, too.

Such great shots of Philo. He had a good life, but that doesn’t make the loss any easier. I am sure he will be there with you in spirit, and be strong my friend. Hugs and keeping you in my thoughts.
