Journaling flow

Serious journaling flow going on here. We all know these muse periods come in waves, so I’m balancing on the wave as best I can. Journal play is akin to relaxed play in between periods of meditative stitching. I do some of each every day in between dog entertaining of course. I’ve been using stencils again with cosmetic sponges, my preferred way to use them. Even painting with the cosmetic sponges too. Smoosh quality and blending are great. Here ar a couple of spreads.

The photos are big so you can expand them and look around. Cold returning this week, so I suspect these bright colors will be my flowers until Spring.

Love the flow of these, and the colors! Seems you are as into journaling as I am into quilting!

    What wonderful colors!
Maybe you have cold weather up north, but
Spring colors are in your journals!

Although I couldn’t get the photos to enlarge, I was still dazzled by those incredible flowers. I don’t have any sponges, but I have some tampons that I use to spread ink on my stencils. I love your bright colors and your hope for spring.

Great colorful journaling. These are gorgeous. After my 31 posts for AJJ, my muse is taking a bit of a hiatus, but not a long one as she is starting to come back.Loving your colors which is something I am starting to need right now! Happy February. Hugs-Erika

I get a sense of energy flowing from the pages, as though your artistic energy cannot be contained with the page alone. The colours are stunning and my eye was drawn to the word – emerge.
Apologies that I barely stop by to comment, I am desperately hoping I can get my life in a place where i can find energy to comment as I did before.
Thank you for the time you take to visit any of my posts, it is much appreciated.
