Jessica Sporn’s Bubble Girl Stencil Hop — Blowing Wishes of Hope

Jessica Sporn is one of my favorite StencilGirl artists to work with.  She is a friend and I really resonate with her work so it makes it easy for me to play with her stencils.

I know that Jessica is always putting herself out there 100%+ in everything she does, and there is always alot of giving involved, so I was thinking that if this Bubble Girl was anything like Jessica, she would be blowing wishes of hope out into the world.  That was the impetus for me to create this journal page.

I started with a pre-painted journal page that had little bits of paint all over it and put the stencil over the whole page and got a quick black spray image of it.  I immediately began to add color with markers.

This little girl needed some super color so her dress got embellished, her hair got curlier and her bubbles more festive.

She got some soft comfy grass to stand on and I pictured out in a field happily blowing wishes to the sky.

Some stick on lettering “Wishes of Hope”, glitter of course, and musical washi tape, an homage to Jessica’s theatrical and fabulous voice and my Bubble Girl was complete.

This stencil is great fun to use and some of the bubbles even reminded me of flower buds….so versatile.

Don’t forget to visit everyone on the list and see their great projects. Jessica has a terrific giveaway and you wouldn’t want to miss out on that!  Here are the rest of the players in this Bubble troupe.
