Inspired By — Alisa Burke

Painting on raw canvas, inspired by Alisa Burke.  Going to make some hand made canvas to make a pouffe of my own, but more like this in shape with my own colorways.  For the studio, to rest my feet upon, after painting on raw canvas for several hours.  I love poufs, pouffe’s and all manner of footstools, toadstools and the like…Day one fabric one.  We will see what shows up tomorrow.

This is terrific and has given me ideas. I saw this late last night and then got lost in Alisa’s blog which I had forgotten about so thanks for the link again.

I love these progression photos. A pouffe eh? Sounds rather gay to me, but gay is good:-)

wow! love all the warmth, layers and depths. And to make something for yourself! I find I give my art away like mad. I go into “make” mode and never know where it will end up. So I’m not attached. I need to make some things I want to keep. Might be just the thing to get me back in the studio. Always a joy to stop by your place in cyber space!
