In The Red House

Easing back into the rhythm
the movement of paper sliding
to and fro until it clicks in the
place it belongs.

Pure collage, free painting,
inks and texture.

In The Red House
sheltered by a red arch from
the sun, black language icons
teal and green grounding.

A little orange,
we can’t live without
orange can we?

Never a day without orange! Do the language icons mean anything?

I've been catching up on your last several posts (finally)….wow, sounds like a really powerful getaway you had. The pictures are beautiful, oh to be in that part of CA. I am so glad you had such a moving and fulfilling retreat experience – I can see it in your art! The powerful women in your paintings a few posts back and the first one you posted from the trip..LOVE IT!!!!! xoxo
