ICA/Daisy Yellow Oh So Far Behind

Yes it’s true, I hit the wall, fell to the ground and crashed.  I am oh so far behind…. maybe when I return home tonight I will get back in the game and be infused with new mojo to play again.  In the meantime, here’s a little gallery of where I am at.  Thanks to Daisy Yellow for creating the space for us to just be with these small pieces of art making.

I have stopped caring about falling behind on various challenges. As long as I meet my real life deadlines, I will catch up on the rest if and when I enjoy doing so. Challenges should be fun, right, so enjoy the ones you did make instead of thinking about the ones you never got around to. Your work is moving and thought provoking and colourful and awesome – daily basis or not!
Looking forward to seeing what you did do this week:)

I love the colours and fun in these pieces. Just let it happen in its own time.

I was hitting the wall and all of a sudden — a spurt! Treading water, but enjoying the flow! 😀 😀 😀 Fun little sprits of imagination!

I found myself in the same boat….falling behind in a couple of challenges then realized I just had too many challenges on my plate! It’s summer, art is supposed to be fun, the challenge is there for prompting or a little creative nudge….if I fall behind, no one is keeping track but me. I try to let it go. 🙂 If you feel inspired, you’ll get back to it; if not, oh well. I always enjoy what you share. Safe trip home.

I know the feeling! Those walls are hard when I hit them! The index card in the top left is my favorite. Love the dancing dames!

Make art with joy. I know you do and can and will! All things peaceful and lovely to you.

love the texture in these and how you ‘scribbled out’ words to make us focus on one. yes, challenges and commitments can be overwhelming so they are good as long as they are fun or stretching us, but not if it becomes a guilt thing! terrific job…
