He measured his love one heartbeat a….

A while back I showed you a vision board collage here.  It was all about soothing the monkey mind. After I made that collage it sat in the studio where I could see it out of the corner of my eye.  I knew it had to go somewhere but it wasn’t talking to me…

I began another plywood piece with gesso and that collage fairly shouted from where it was resting and it told me exactly what it wanted to be… he…

The collage got cut up, banana fiber paper surrounded him, sequins were added – doesn’t love sparkle?  And his heart became big.

Listening to your art is sometimes the best thing you can do. Love those sequins. They are the bling this piece needed. So clever, and so very YOU.

Your abundance of creativity gets me thinking…, it is finally time for me to get started on my vision board, the one my husband gave , along with an accompanied book, this past Christmas. Thanks very much. I enjoy so very much, viewing your wonderful work.

I love the orrugated cardboard rib cage – and the sentence trailing off – as if he was supposed in mid thought – or mid heart beat

It’s amazing that a piece of art is never “done,” only resting. The vision board, indeed, had a vision! And, yes, my friend, love sparkles. Love this piece!
