Gifts for friends

I ❤️ to make gifts for friends. I know that part of my heart is in each one and even if my friends don’t always like them, they know my heart was in it. My gift is freely given and if it doesn’t resonate they can pass it along to the person whom it may have been intended for all along.

The creative spirit moves in mysterious ways but as long as I send love out I truly believe it will come back.

In this commercial fantasmagorica of spiritless consumerism this feels like a more important thing to do. Acts of good thrown to the wind.

In the spirit of the season I’ve just finished a muse doll for a friend. The story is personal so I’ll leave you all to interpret on your own.

    Very interesting….
You are leaving a lot to the imagination!
I like the idea of hand made gifts.

Home made and unique, made with love, she definitely has a character that’s all her own!

I love the philosophy behind your gifts. Gifts made with love and thoughts are so much better than expensive baubles that nobody needs. Your doll is lovely. Hugs, Valerie

I love the muse doll and I’m sure, since it is personal, so will your friend. I’m in agreement about handmade gifts. Although most of mine haven’t turned out too well this year, I still try to make all mine. People who don’t like them, won’t get more from me if they indicate (either silently, through other friends, or outright) they would rather have something purchased. Your handmade idea resonates with me.

Fun doll. I know, this season has gotten out of control but I think homemade gifts are the best. I always like to make a few, and if I had more time, I’d make a few more. Hope all is well and you are enjoying the season too. How’s the puppy doing? Has she totally settled in? Hugs-Erika

Corrine, she is amazing, she will be so loved.
I too, only send my handmade gifts to friends, -they might small in money value, and sometimes in weight, ( bloody expensive to send post from DK) but they always ,like yours, have a piece of my heart , and was created for the occasion. For us creating, it is all about different styles, and art love, but gifts send with heart and from loving hands, always are happily welcomed in my house 🙂

Handmade gifts are the best – but only to those who appreciate them, we know who they are.
Your muse doll for your friend looks very kind, the best of attributes. She is lovely.

Finally I am able to comment – wordpress, via my Blog would not allow me to do so 🙁
I don’t believe it can be any more special a gift than that made with your own creative hands.
I see sweetness and strength in this muse doll – she is an incredible creation.
Corrine, thank you for your visits, I really do appreciate them and wish I could be more present on-line (matters beyond my control).

I agree. We are so bombarded with ads to buy things at this time of year. Gift giving becomes very insincere. I thing hand made is always appreciated because it is personal.
