Friday Affirmations — Diving Deeper

Diving deeper can only lead to Bliss…

Diving in, sinking down, getting comfortable deep in the belly, the place where it all originates.  One stroke, one scribble, one face, one heart, one within — diving

Oh Corrine – each time I think I’ve seen my favorite of yours, you surprise me with something deeper and more heartfelt. Love all the scribbling, the use of corrugated cardboard, the metaphor of diving deep, and your big heart. xo

Oh this one is a favorite. The corrugated board, the background, which reminds me of a map and the vintage kids. I caught your little faces and your animal. Great mix.. and that HEART.. you know I love hearts. NICE!!!

Hi, Corrine! I feel I am running out of words like amazing, inspirational, moving (and the list goes on) to describe your art. For this piece, all of these apply, but I must add BRILLIANT! I think that this one is my favorite of all that I have seen! I am always a fan of your backgrounds, but the layer of scribbling (and not just a bit) here adds so much interest! I was a kid lying on her back looking up at the clouds looking for familiar shapes and words! Love that! I also love your use of corrugated cardboard–one of my most favorite elements! And that sweet touch of vintage drew me right in. I can so relate to this one–and deeply!

Oh I like the image beneath. What an interesting piece. It is saying a lot to us, I am not sure what exactly because it’s almost 10:30 pm and my brain is fried. But I do like it!!! xo

As I study the artwork the pieces look like they should not go together but they do, it so works!
