Flags and the Fourth of July

The fourth of July is independence day in the United States.  Contemplating independence  brings me to one of my favorite blues songs by Solomon Burke.  This song is what the 4th of July is all about for me…hope it resonates with you too. Let my flag be also a prayer flag for what freedom means to me.  Sending wishes out into the ether.

As the fireworks continue in my neighborhood, I thought I would stop by and wish you a very happy Independence Day. This prayer flag is one stunning beauty. So symbolic for today, too. Happy 4th, dear friend.
