Divisions, Intersections and a Release of Energy

Today I simply played
with paint.  Nine days
of the three amigos and my
brain is a puddle of mush.

I think because I am tired,
work has been busy too
that I just wanted not to
have to think and put paint
on my scrap of paper and
see what came out.

When I finished, I thought,
divisions, intersections
and a release of energy from
the crown of my head.

Too many directions this week,
too many intersections and I am
in pieces, divided, too many jobs,
too many hats.

This digitally manipulated version is how I really feel…

On Sunday when the grand-dogs
go home, I will slowly stitch myself
back together again.

Powerful and expressive paint play – I hope the release helped you to feel more at one with yourself, and less divided. I really love the fierceness I feel coming from the manipulated image!
I'm visiting via Lyle's blog an am glad to *meet* you!
