Deluge of…Pink

The deluge of rain today
has given me time for a deluge
of ideas.

Leaky spouts in the basement
have resulted in spouts of future
projects bubbling up in my brain.

Keeping the heat going, somewhere
in the world there is warmth and light.

Pink blooms, pink tea,
tropical rooibos sweetness.
Yellow windows full of sun.
Dreaming of hibiscus, linden
and larkspur. All wrapped up in
a recycled envelope just for me.

I love the neon warmth! It's cold and raining here too.

Thanks for the little spot of sunlight on a grey and rainy day!
Do you collect envelopes, or are these all from your own mail?

Sweetness, indeed! Love how the 'rich' pinks rise above the day.

It is 80F here in Athens. Thinking of all my ladies where it is not so sunny, not so warm and hoping things change soon sooner soonest.

The colours and the textures especially are so perfect on this. It's like a dream you have — I hope Powers That Be "make it so".

    Take good care!
