Cold, Collage and Connect the Dots

Outside time has been somewhat limited
this weekend thanks to the cold.
I have been working on this collage…
Recycled barn board David cut and
glued up for me. A vintage french
paper, a gift from the lovely Kim,
sewn fabric and various other vintage finds
and a buried photo of my grandmother,
lost in the paint, paste and pencil markings.

Some paper dots from my hole punch,
overstamping with a text stamp, paint,
stitching and colored pencil to highlight
the stitching…

Love the house shape and all the textures. Isn't it fun to make use of thing you get from other arty friends ? I have been doing the same lately – like a bunch of new toys.
Saw Colleen yesterday – we went to AE and had lunch. Fun ! We will have to do the same soon.
    Happy Sunday night !
