Back to the journal

Back to the journal for inspiration and motivation. Been a tough week past and to come. Two doggie surgeries. One to remove baby Roxie’s extra tooth. This week another for Ryder to remove a tiny cancer lump and a paw injury for Peanut. Going into hibernation until Spring after this. All of us. But the art is healing too. Couple of journal spreads from yesterday and today. Keep the pups in your prayers for full recoveries all around.

Feeling pretty vulnerable about now. ❤️

Poor pups! And poor you, I’m sure you are stressing over them worse than they are. Sending good healing energy your way. I swear i don’t know how people can survive raising children, it is hard enough worrying about my dogs. But of course the rewards are worth it. Love that first journal page especially. Take care.

Oh no. Poor Ryder. I hope the surgery gets rid of the cancer. Pete had a cancer lump removed off his paw back in December. And I hope Peanut’s paw heals well. How was it injured? The journaling looks good. Is that the stenciling you were doing recently. I will keep the pups in my thoughts and prayers. Hope your week goes well. Hugs-Erika

I can see why you want to hibernate. Those poor pups. Yes, I will hold them in my thoughts and prayers. I know what a toll that must take on you to have ONE sick, but three must have been a nightmare.

I really like the pages you created and they are both so positive. You always come across that way, regardless how you might be feeling inwardly. At least your art comes across that way. And I especially like the stenciled first one. That has given me an idea.

Stay warm, hug your pups, and stay positive, please.

Oh I say that hibernation is highly underrated, that is what winter is for and for healing and contemplation… rest up.. it must be so stressful. I will send prayers and lots of love and light for you and the hounders. xoxo
