As Clean as it gets

Scrub down, refresh, lighten up. The studio got a serious cleaning today and it feels so much airier in here. Enjoy the views. It won’t stay this way long.

Words to live by… A piece I made years ago.

The mantel got a redo as well.
The farmhouse is our for the rest of our lives house and we decided to take the biggest spaces for our studios. My hubby’s music studio doubles as a hang out space for friend to gather and often we have guests in my studio too. We figure our real friends will get it and the rest, well, need I say more?

I spent much of yesterday cleaning my fridge and freezer, and it didn’t turn out anywhere as artistic and colorful as your clean-up. I really enjoyed the view from your studio, the colorful and airy feeling of home and warmth. I GET IT!!!

Great to see your art place, Corrine, so colourful and I had a good peer at the cushions and dolls and those fabulous patchwork curtains and all else. It’s good to see that you both have art and music making as one of your top priorities.

It does look cleaner. You finally got the shelves cleaned out- when I saw them last they were very full of boxes and it looks bright and cheery in there. I still love how you have that fireplace mantel for displays. It looks gorgeous. And I know, I have been bad planning this Saturday art day. Was thinking about it this morning. The hubby has been eating up a lot of my time-him just wanting to do things. But I haven’t forgotten-once work settles down and into the new semester- and I get home from New Mexico-too many excuse son my end. But I am game to plan an afternoon walk along the river so let me know your schedule-maybe later this week?

fantastic! i love seeing people’s studios. i also have the biggest/nicest room in the house as my studio. but i am not so good at keeping it tidy, to the point where it’s such a mess it’s actually difficult to work! i’m inspired to get it in order so it’s pleasurable, not stressful, to be in there. thanks for setting a good example!

Your home is so welcoming and why wouldn’t everyone want to hang out in your studios!
