Art Journal — The messages were already in his head

Instead of lights, camera, action it’s been lights, plumbing, flooring, demo and more demo.  The messages(details) are in my head, and on note paper and in a notebook and in a folder scattered everywhere.  I haven’t had a minute to organize, or to MAKE ART…boohoo…and I’ve been so absent from the blog, five whole days, never happens, so this is the life of a farmhouse rehab.

My head feels like his head, information swirling around, a big OH of a mouth and electrified hair…let’s not even talk about the gopher(groundhog) as large as a sheep….he will have to go or the dogs will go nuts….hopefully he will escape unscathed.

Eyes off, head buzzing with the information overload.  I did hide out in the barn for a while just to clear my head.

The message are in my head, now to get them together….

Oh honey… i know this feeling all to well. You have to do what you have to do and technology is last on the list if it makes it at all. Love this head.. looks like me less than a year ago. Hang in there. You’ll get it done and be happy in the end.

He looks as though he is echoing your frustrations. Good way to get them out, making some art when you are able. I know when you are all moved into your new house, studio set up, creating like crazy, you will look back on this time and know it was all worth it. But I can certainly relate. This is one of the reasons I like winter so well, not much else to be doing but hanging out in the studio, following the muse.

Every time you wrote message all I could read was massage. Guess I am thinking you need a wonderful spa day filled with massages with all the demo and rehabing you’re doing!

Love your head, my friend, and that was totally me yesterday! But, today, my head is less cluttered as I got a lot done. I can (almost) see clearly now! I have the feeling that you head will look like this well into the Fall, but, I know, too, that it is truly a labor of love that fills both your head and your days! Mwah!

I love how you left parts of the background visible in his face. A year from now he’ll remind you of this hectic time in your life and you’ll smile (I hope!)

Oh, Corinne, it sounds like you could use some dayes with a little help,- or maybe many dayes …. So much work to be done, for you two, inside and out !
I think some minutes in that barn ceveral times the day, will keep you more relaxed, and the need of creating, will have to be satisfied just a little also every day!!!
Don`t end up like this sweet soul, with a brain exploding from inside ,-out ! lol.

This is what happens when we try to live two lives – our Art life with our blogging friends, and our real life with our real life activities and friends and family. This is a great illustration of how we can feel if we try to do so much – the manic eyes, the mouth (great square mouth), the strip (like a colourful head-ache) across the forehead and the busy, busy background.
