Art Journal — Abstract Face

Piarom is again hosting her Mix-it-Monthly challenge for abstract work in reddish/ orange, dark blue, light blue and light green.  Here is an abstract face I journaled for the challenge.

They eyes are really more rimmed in red, but you know how photo editing software is, true color?, what’s that.

I wrenched my neck pretty badly over the weekend so I am icing and taking anti-inflammatories….It’s not that I don’t want to see what you are all doing,  but I may be a bit absent this week…I hope it resolves itself quickly…but if I fail to get around to your blog, I will try and catch up when I can move my head better….in the meantime, stay warm, or cool, and those of us that have snow, be safe.

A photo of the face must have been taken in the moment when it happened to your neck. That’s what the face says: Ouch! Hoping you get well soon, dear Corinne!

I strained something in my neck over a month ago and it STILL twinges me if I turn too quickly or hold it in one position too long. Hope yours doesn’t last nearly this long!
