The cover of the journal
I made in North Carolina
has a ginormous pocket
to tuck whatever
memorabilia I want
into it’s recesses.
What you are seeing here
is a small 4″ x 6″ format
200 page book sticking
out from the side.
I could easily tuck collected papers
and a pen or two, even some scissors
and a glue stick in a pocket this size.
The orange red flap was going to be
something else, but glued onto another sheet
became the perfect heavy outside
for this pocket. The glittery jewel
beads just made it fun. The outside
edges are all painted masking tape,
several layers there to hold everything
in place. Simple, wabi sabi and joyful.
What more could you want?
Loving this Spring warm up aren’t you?
