A passage and a look back

This sweet boy left us last week at the age of 14 1/2.  RIP over the rainbow bridge Rusty, we miss you so much.  His passing got me going back in time to see where my life has taken me and I pulled some images from my old blog to share with you.  My heart is aching and we all miss him, but it was his time and he was feeling unwell.  Such is our life, a passage from one thing to another.  It was good to take a look back and now a look forward.

Thelma Lou sings the blues…

Prints drying on the line…

Inspiration cards for a swap of which their were 52…

Giant flowers from my booth in the way back of the Vintage Bazaar – more recycled art…maybe they will go on the tent at Art in the Park??

And some fun holiday bags I stitched 5 years ago, which makes me think I need to stitch up some more…

I’m off to a retreat with a friend next week, one I did three years back.  I’ll share my photos when I return.  Hope to get more of this going in my  creative heart…

Ahhh, Rusty, he’s got those “I love you” eyes on. Till you meet again, keep on arting, as if I have to remind you.

Your photo of Rusty choked me up. He was always a good boy when I saw him. Hope you are holding up as best of possible. Thinking of you. Hugs-Erika

How sad, dear Corrine. My heart reaches out to you in this hour of your grief. I know how painful it is to lose a loved one. I’m sure reviewing some of the photos from when Rusty was alive was both painful and comforting. I remember most of these, too.

Words can’t express the pain, but I can at least say how sorry I am about Rusty. I’m sure he is happy and pain free now, though.

It’s always sad to lose a wonderful four footed companion who has been part of your life for so long, but you have good memories of him and the time he spent with you. Hugs, Valerie

Oh Corrine, I’m so sorry you lost your sweet Rusty. It’s always heartbreaking when beloved pets leave us. We wish they would live much longer. It takes some time until the heart gets lighter again.
I don’t see all the pictures but it’s probably a problem on my side. My computer has not been working properly for some days. I love the flowers and the inspiration cards.
    Sending you a big hug,

Dear Corrine, he was a beautiful dog, and so sweet looking. I know it will take time, to heal your heart, but next week coming, you will have other things on your mind, meeting with a friend, visiting a retreat, I wish you a wonderful week.
So fun to see some of your older creations, the flowers I remember , but not the holiday bags,
    they are wonderful !!
See you when back again- hugs, Dorthe
