A Painting, Four Days, Now a Book Beginning

Four days of painting transformation, bliss and angst, construction, destruction to a whole new form. The energy in the space synergistic and moving, feeding each other, feeding the soul, discarding the negative.

A whole range of emotion as the energy moves through the body and releases…day oneA dream turning into destruction/reconstruction …day twoAngst and stress, anger and further destruction…day threeDreaming images further destruction/reconstruction moving forward into spiral book form …day 4

What a transformation! I like the way you cut up and rearranged the pieces to make a different whole. Not sure what a spiral book is, but I look forward to seeing how it comes together. Jane Davies does a similar thing with what she calls her scribble paintings – cuts them up, rearranges the pieces until she likes the results better. I really must try this! Welcome home.

An interesting and fun process, and I love the end result! It’s been a long time since I’ve created an emotional painting like that… this post makes me want to get out my paints and try again!

I love the transformation. I never thought of painting emotions before. I’m glad you were able to work through things with your art. Art really IS therapy. And so are your intuitive paintings!

    Hi Corrine,
This looks so fun and freeing to create. I can’t wait to see the final book. I’ve got to get a large board to paint on like that would make my life easier.
    Happy Painting!
