A Long Pink Snake

Saturday I worked on a long pink snake of a thing in the studio.  Segmented, strung out along the painting wall, drying in the soft summer heat until I visit her again.  You can click on the small photos to make them big. Just like SNAP I am lingering in pink.

My whole bedroom was pink when I was little…everything…walls, curtains, bedspread and even the white painted furniture was trimmed in pink. I love pink. These are pretty.

I love the collection of pieces…I can imagine them in a row around your studio. It’s a fabulous series with all those shades of pink connecting them….and those sharp greens, a splash of purple or teal – just gorgeous collages! I’ve been away from art for a couple weeks with son & party taking my time – after seeing this, I’m really itching to get back to it!

I love your pink celebration! My grand daughters are in LOVE with pink and tomorrow we are going to see a live play of “Legally Blonde” for my grand daughter’s 7th birthday. There is plenty of pink in this musical! Peace, Mary Helen
