A Leafy Glade

The first patio is complete and I thought I would share some photos of our leafy glade.  We are all about shade, shade and more shade(maybe it’s because I burn, burn, burn with my Scottish blood) so I tend to prefer the dappled sun and shade.

The chairs in case you are interested are 100% recycled plastic(this one’s for Jill) and you can buy them at Lowes for $18 each – yes it’s true!!Perennials and annuals in pots alike surround the view and bring a little color to our green oasis.

Only 4,000 more pounds to go!  Have a good weekend.

What a lovely peaceful place to sit! I love the shade too as I am very fair skinned and burn really easily(I have Scottish blood too from my grandfather). I had to enlarge the photo of your rocks and windchimes to check what they were……..armadillo came to mind but I didn’t think that could be right lol 🙂 Take care moving all those stones.

You are BUSY! Look at how beautiful your outside escape is! We are house shopping, and that is one thing on the list-a beautiful backyard for R&R. I hope you have strong helpers for those stones. 🙂

Glade is the perfect word and conjures up such quiet and green and relaxation. What a gorgeous patio you’ve created. And MORE??!! Yikes! Good luck with that!
