A Fractured Heart Makes Room for New Love

Most of us have fractured hearts.  We have love, we have loss, we have pain, we have moments of greatest joy.  All those strong feelings can fracture out hearts and provide an opening for new love to come in.  Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, but I prefer to not think of the Hallmark holiday but rather of all that hearts who have touched mine and made me a better person for it, even if I have experienced loss and pain, as we all have.  So my journal entry “A Fractured Heart Makes Room for New Love” is a thank you to all of you my friends, family that I love, and for those lost.  Special wishes go out to Dorthe Hansen who I hope is firmly on the mend and to remembering Anne Huskey Lockard whom we lost this past year …they  are in my heart as I write this…and all of you too.
