52 Projects #26 Storytelling, Collage and Art Journaling

It’s the stories we draw, the stories we share and the stories we keep.  It would be amazing if we wrote them all down somewhere, the volume of tiny books of histories would fill the sky and our connections might be stronger if we took the time to read even just a few.  We all have different ways of looking at the world, but there is always our human component that keeps us together.  We share love, despair, pain, joy, grief; deep feelings connect us no matter what we think, believe or how we see the world, there are always elemental feelings that unite us all.  My stories always involve a collage of these feelings in one way or another, layers that come together to form a simple story that I am moved to share.  Here are some recent examples of those simple stories.

Painted, stenciled, recycled magazine collage, whatever we need to use to tell our stories.  We all share them in the way we approach our world and our art.  How do you tell your stories, what do they reveal about you?

I often turn to magazines to help tell a story. I adore the way you put yours together. I was especially drawn to your colorful life, although I think you should call it LIVING a colorful life!

I had trouble believing we are now half way through the year. Not sure if this is a good feeling or not. 2017 seems to be moving at the speed of light.

Nice artful stories. Hope all is well. Recovery is coming along very well here-feeling like myself again. Just still get a bit tired and can’t lift yet. 🙂 Hugs-Erika

I agree with Susi, you have great games with colours and shapes.
I try to make happy art no matter what.
