#52 Projects #16 Fun in the sun

Here comes the sun as George Harrison sang…I made this sweet 6″ sun on a downpour of a day last week.  It  will eventually be part of something larger, but for now it makes me happy just having on my sewing table.  Don’t you love that bright batik!  A tiny project it’s true but more kids stuff is happening, for this week we will be making this in the Creative Lab…

The warm and the cool colors.  I actually had a great time in my own adult color world relaxing with pencils to demo the warm colors and the cool colors.  I think only a few kids will be there but I will try and take some photos of what they create in the exercise(think 9-10 year olds).

Books on the mantle and my gold heart cube.  Did a bit of re-arranging and Spring cleaning to ship shape the studio.

Gorgeous Spring weather yesterday and we went on a walkabout with my son and his girl.  A bite of lunch, a bit of shopping and a good walk.  What could be more perfect. Enjoy your week.

It looks so colourful and fun in your studio.
The sun heart would warm the heart, just to catch the eye as one passes.
I do like the tantalising glimpse of books and art in the last photo.

For days my blog was on meltdown, and I lost all my blogs. Found you AGAIN from Sheila’s blog.

Your sun is SO colorful and I like the fabric. Was that your design?

The hand was perfect for warm and cool color demonstration. And I really love your mantle with your incredible journals and gold heart. Everything looks like spring to me!
